Brace yourselves, winter is coming!

Konbanwa!

I'm sure you know the drill by now. It's mid-way fall anime season and I'm already looking out for what winter has to offer! I'm pleased to announce it will not disappoint, especially so for me, anyway. Let's not dally around, allow me to share with you my top winter anime picks!

Durarara!!x2 “承”

Set to take place two years after the previous season, I'm looking forward to more chaos and more of Shizuo! Durarara!!x2 “承” (SHOU) will air January 2015, Durarara!!x2 “転” (TEN) in July 2015 and Durarara!!x2 “結” (KETSU) in January 2016~ It would be nearly five years since the original anime series in 2010, I can't wait!

Koufuku Graffiti

Also known as Happy Cooking Graffiti, this is an adaptation of a 4-koma, four-panel comic. The story follows Ryou, a girl who forges friendships through her food. It looks delicious, literally! Since it's adapted from a 4-koma, I'm curious if it will be full-fledged 20 minute episodes like Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun or quite 4 minute episodes like Orenchi no Furo Jijou.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventures: Stardust Crusaders 2

This needs no introduction, for it was airing last season! I've heard that Stardust Crusaders will be four seasons long, but there will be a break after season two. If so, I might wait out this season to watch during the break.

Kuroko no Basuke season 3

These days, I hunger for anything KnB. With a less than satisfying ending, a promise of a special coupled with fan disk in December as well as the manga sequel, my patience is at breaking point! I simply cannot wait to see Kagami animated again, although it will be a long wait til March 2015... Instead of looking forward to the basketball matches though, I'm more excited about the NG-shuu (bloopers). Hehe. They're always so funny and cute!

Tokyo Ghoul season 2

I actually got a little bored halfway through season 1. Honestly, Tokyo Ghoul is a great story. However, as lovable Kaneki is, he felt kind of wishy-washy, which I dislike. It got better quickly though, so I picked it up again, and now I'm definitely anticipating season 2!

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu

I actually only started reading this a couple of weeks ago and got so hooked to it I finished all the available chapters in half a day! Also known as Assassination Classroom, it's about a class of student who has to kill their teacher before graduation. This sensei of theirs has already destroyed the moon, and has promised to destroy the Earth if he can not be killed within a year. Howver, this tentacled creature might actually be the best teacher they've ever had?

Shokugeki no Souma

You can check out either this or this for more information, but I thought I'd share the official PV for the anime!

Psycho-Pass movie

I'm lacking in information regarding the movie, but here's the 15 second PV! Nothing I've found indicates which point of the Psycho-Pass timeline it will take place in. I am assuming season 2 of the anime would have ended by the time it is released though, so perhaps it will be something that spans the entirety of the story so far or even a decisive conclusion!

Hoozuki no Reitetsu OVA

Last... But not least! In fact, I can say this might be the one out of all I've listed so far that I am most eager for. Hoozuki no Reitetsu's anime season is one I still rewatch time to time. It's funny, the stories aren't draggy with two per episode and the colourful art is a joy to watch! I'm pretty disappointed there's no news of a season 2 though.

Let me know your recommendations as well!
