Kero's Tea Party: Cardcaptor Sakura Ichiban Kuji

Have you ever bought lottery? Myself, I usually only join this kind of thing if it's a lucky draw that I'm eligible for after a purchase. They never come to fruition though. In Japan, lottery's pretty popular among anime fans thanks to Ichiban Kuji! In fact, you can pretty much find at least one in every konbini (convenience store). Personally, this is the first time I'm trying Ichiban Kuji. It's very exciting!

In Singapore, Ichiban Kuji is only available at some Japanese culture shops. One place I can direct you to go to is Otaku House ^_^

I've never been interested in Ichiban Kuji because I usually only want prize A, which is the rarest and therefore the likelihood of my winning it is low, but I love Kero, plus the pastel theme of the prizes are so pretty! I definitely wouldn't mind any of the prizes, so I took the plunge!

As you can see, the prizes are all adorable!

Purchased one lottery ticket for $9 and got prize F! I got a teacup~ As someone who enjoys drinking Chinese and Japanese tea, I was quite satisfied with my prize!

It's in a simple box, also pastel coloured with Hiiragizawa Eriol printed on the side! ^_^ Look how pretty the ribbon, macarons and dainty teardrop hanging charms are!

Tadah! I had the choice of blue or pink and preferred blue, so it's a blue ribbon! It's printed all around with Cardcaptor Sakura motifs and I particularly like Sakura's wand motif! Isn't it just so pretty? The thin handles and pastel colours make it look very dainty, it's certainly very ladylike!

Although I had planned to make tea in it, my friend asked me if I should display it instead. Now I'm not too sure if I want to use it or retain its pristine state... Nevertheless, I'm really happy with my prize from my first time buying Ichiban Kuji.

There are many other animes that have Ichiban Kuji, maybe the rest of you would like to try too! It's a very exciting process, especially if it's your first time buying. If you've decided to try it, all the best! I hope everyone gets great prizes ^_^
