Catching Up - Hectic as Ever
As the year closes in on the month of August, my work
schedule has gotten a lot busier than usual with National Day right around the
corner, on top of other command activities.
Getting more tired as well with the Army Half Marathon coming close. I managed to marathon multiple shows after work hours. I re-watched a lot of shows and watched some of the new ones that are out.
Old shows like Asobi no Ikuyo, Inou-Battle wa Nichijou-kei no Naka de, Aa! Megami-sama and both seasons of Gin no Saji. The previous season that I managed to watch till the end are Shingeki no Kyojin 2, Boku no Hero Academia 2, Eromanga Sensei, Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Kinki Kyouten, Clockwork Planet, Renai Boukun, Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism, Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka?, Seikaisuru Kado, Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho, Atom: The Beginning, Natsume Yuujinchou Roku, Alice to Zouroku, Hinako Note, Oushitsu Kyoushi Haine, Frame Arms Girls, ID-O and a few more that I’ve yet to finish.

I have already made a list that I’ve picked out for the
Summer season but I’ll name a few that I am currently watching.
Fate/Apocrypha, which is another story from the Fate franchise. It looks like the main servant is Jeanne d’Arc. I may be wrong. Knight’s & Magic, which is something I’m familiar with as I’ve read the manga and also because it’s about mecha. Hajimete no Gal, which is another manga that I’m currently reading.
Isekai Shokudou is something I’ve picked out as I love another world setting and it seems similar to another manga I’m reading called Isekai Izakaya Nobu. And also because of food.
Kakegurui, because of its amazing manga and just the faces she makes. Made in Abyss, which is another that I’m reading. Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni, again another “another world” setting and finally Youkai Apartment no Yuuga na Nichijou, which is another manga that I really enjoy.

Another thing that happened is that I’ve finally got a bed.
After quite a number of months sleeping on the mattress and floor, I’ve finally
got a bed. And it feels so comfortable. I’ve also put up some pictures on the
wall like for example a Mercy artwork that I’ve bought from last year’s AFA.
Not sure where to put the posters though as there isn’t much space. Still don’t
have a place to display my figurines. They probably won’t see the light of day
for a while more. Moved the PS4 to my room and got a television but occasionally
uses it.
I’ve been playing Just Cause 3 lately, enjoying the chaos
and destruction that entails with it. I can’t resist face-planting into the
ground with the wingsuit and doing stupid things with the tethers. Oh yeah,
Doomfist is out. Another game I should get back into, just like a few others
that I’ve left, picking up dust.
I’ve also bought a new lens that I really love to use. A Canon
24-105mm f/4L. It’s something that I’ve use often during work and during my
final year project.
I’ve been spending quite a lot of my money this month for
something that’s coming in October. It’s one of the reason why I bought a new
lens, but there are other things that I would use the lens for.
Can’t wait to see it happen.
