Winter 2018: New Anime Alert?!

Okay, I know I hardly touch much anime these days for reasons that I could no longer figure out, but it is still rather nice knowing what I would be getting myself into as time continues to pass my way with yet another bunch of titles. Winter for anime will commence from January, and as I was surfing around stuff earlier a few surprises had stopped me a little longer for attention. I can't promise to watch and follow up everything, but these are what I would hope to catch!

I have known this title since...I can't remember when, but I was actually very surprised when I first heard news of an anime adaptation in the works. I have read its manga, so I believe the ride should be a little smoother somehow. Besides, when food is involved nothing can go wrong...I think? Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san talks of a high school ramen fanatic (obviously) named Koizumi who catches the attention of a fellow classmate one day while getting in line for ramen. Koizumi isn't one for small talk, yet when ramen is in the picture she becomes a different person...kind of. Anyway, I don't know if this is a thing, but it seems like anime characters have a common ability to jump high into the sky!

Now, now, boys...don't look so shocked over there! Yeah, all of you are returning next year for Glory Line! The popular franchise about competitive cycling enters its fourth season in Winter, and honestly I am still stuck somewhere in the third? I have never really caught on much since Onoda-kun brought his team jersey past the finishing line in the Inter-High. I know there is still a very long road ahead. The manga is still moving strong. It is just me, because somewhere in my heart I have actually believed things would end once Onoda-kun has made it. Hmm, I think I need to dream a lot bigger.

Koi wa Ameagari no You ni. Love is like after the rain. How subtly romantic is that? I have read the manga after stumbling upon it pretty much accidentally. The title was placed in a popularity contest in 2016, and its cover art had left quite an impression. The premise should be rather typical of most romantic stories, but it is still very engaging as the gradual transformation of somebody through the magical effects of love plays out over the series. I am looking forward to this one! Meanwhile, I should dig out the manga...

Well, what about some of your must-watch titles in Winter? I realise there is quite a big bunch out there!

Eccentrically Yours.
