This has to be my most expensive Pin ever purchased! A Disney Mickey Mouse with castle Lapel Pin. It even has the black velvet cloth behind the pin. It cost me $25. So what is so special about this Pin? Well..it is 3D! Yup, three dimensional! I had taken a side view for u to see the effects. First time I saw it, I fell in love with it.... Do u like it too? ^_^

These are what I called "Designer Toys". They are chrome and beautiful. Not very light or heavy. It feels solid. U know, like some phones, if they are too light, it feels fake. Too heavy and u feel like throwing onto someone face which u don't like. They are just nice...a lovely present from my girlfriend ^_^

These are Disney cute little lamps. They come in different colours. Under the base, there is a little lever to turn on the lamp, which is a warm orange colour. Lovely to work at night where u won't disturb your girlfriend or snoring-away boyfriend... :)

The Couple Disney Gachas I would call it, sharing lovely moments! The mickey/minnie mouse under a big leaf is cute. On top, those characters are sitting on a little log. They are quite hard to find now as a set. (not for sale).

Notice the Tony Tony Choppers in the middle. They are from Bandai. If u go turn, it cost $3 per piece. Trust me, its very worth it because of the excellent workmanship. And the material is made of velvet, u know ... those used in pool table. I wanted to turn more but the stupid machine in Vivo got jammed.

This is one of my favourite game Wall Scroll. Mario Bros. They are playing on top of a giant Piano or maybe they are that small.. (shouldn't they be driving around in their kart and sabo-ing people??) U can see Luigi, Princess Peach, Wario, Yoshi, Star and the gigantic King Koopa (Bowser). This scroll is very loooong, about 1.2m, hard to find in Singapore! I do have a few spare new ones and if u offer me some nice Gacha sets or Stitch; Scrump Plush, I can do an exchange. (I'm not very picky..) ^_^

The protagonist of this story is without a doubt, Allen Walker. Abandoned by his parents because of his deformed left arm when he was young, he was adopted by Mana Walker, a clown. Akuma are machines which has a human soul attached to it, and created by the Millennium Earl to kill humans. Just then, Allen's left arm has a life on its own and began to attack the Akuma Mana Walker. Despite Allen's attempts to stop it, Mana Walker was destroyed, but Mana cursed Allen, causing Allen to have the ability to see the souls trapped inside of the Akuma. Later, Allen became the disciple of General Cross Marian from the Black Order to be trained to become an Exorcist, as Allen's arm has an ancient substance Innocence, which has the power to destroy Akuma. Hi Everyone
Sorry for the lack of posting. Last month was probably my sickest period of my life. I haven't been coughing for the past 7 years (yes I was consciously counting) but suddenly I got the nasty bout of of virus from sick people seemingly coughing their lungs out. Went to clinic at CCK and there were like 20 sick chickens waiting for their turns. Dec 08 seems like a sick period. Anyone feels the same? For a moment, my ever-churning brain envisioned what it might look like a Doom's Day, The Day After Tomorrow or The Day when the Earth Stood Still, whatever u've like to call, a chaotic mass of infected citizens exposed to Biological & chemical weapons from the rogue nations. What will u do? Stay home forever? Order McDonald and KFC everyday? .....

Now, recovered and fit like a fiddle... I promised myself to take Vitamin C daily to protect all these virus. Orc from World of Warcraft.... one of my favourite collection. A chrome lighter..no..I don't smoke, just like the nice laser-cut artsmanship. He look nasty but he is also strong... in Doom's day, will he be against us or be one of us?

Gacha...Mario Soundrops from Bandai. Very colourful and shaped like a teardrop. Press the button in the centre and a typical Mario-theme sound will be heard. One has the sweet melody at the start of Mario game. There's one with the sound everytime Mario grabs the coin. Great as a keychain...but its weird at times when I sit down with my tight jeans in lecture halls...u know...the sounds go off. Then u see curious gals glancing around, trying to find out who's playing Nintendo...cheap thrill! ^_^

A pair of Bearbricks from Medicom I've bought from China Square. Gold and Silver in color. With movable arms, it's very nice displayed under the spot-lits. I'm not actually a fan of Bearbrick though..just like the Gold and Silver color.

The target pins...2 Giant 45cm Jumbo Snow Stitch, one standing and one siting. Actually they looked like those ostensibly cute Alien "eggs" if you had watched any of the Aliens movies. It's kinda scary yet thrilling to think that if you have a dozen of such stitches in your room, it'll look like the Aliens' nesting ground.

...Well..bowling session begins,

Now ready your bowling ball. U need giant balls too to knock them out... Here I have prepare a huge bubble roll that should able to do the job. First u need to clean the ball nice and shinny because my floor is oily and for maximum "screw" effect. Also it makes you look "pro" ^_^

Next, lift the titanic ball up and aim at those targets, well...if u have the strength to do so without having your legs trembling...then that's excellent! U see... going to the gym pays off for days like this.

Finally, swing the balls back a little and release it. Do not THROW the ball like a bomb onto the floor because your neighbour below will sue you for disturbance. Also you don't wanna end up the whole HDB building collapse like a pile of cards because of u. Then at the very last moment of the release, do a calculated "pull-up" to screw the ball so that it will curve like a beautiful banana-shaped path to its target pins. (Who likes to keep seeing you bowl in a boring straight line unless u look like Brad Pitt....) Lastly, maintain your balance and posture. Do not fall down because people are watching u. It is extremely embarrashing. Trust me, your friends will soothe u sincerely.. "its okay... its alright..I also fall down like u before" (..in their minds, that's such an ugly fall..controlling very hard not to laugh)

but as soon as they reach home and office, they will tell their colleagues and girlfriends.. and they all LAUGH....hahahaha..

So u see, bowling is a simple sport if u just follow these simple steps..

That's because my exam will be on the last week of Nov. But I still got work to do..though SIM gives us exam break for 3 weeks, I don't think I have much time blogging and selling for now. I love my subject on Microeconomics & Business Finance. I hope I can score well on these!

MilkcanLiveWire went Live on Fri Nite 29th Aug. I had fun chatting with some of our fellow blogshop owners and passerbys. In fact the chat began even in the afternoon before the official "Open Ceremony". Special Thanks to Plushie Factory Zone , ^Lain lain^ Plushie Paradise and JS Panda for the testing and fine-tuning! Though I wouldn't say many turn up, I'm glad that some got what they wanted, in the form of exchanges and closed sales (or should I say Live Sales!) Just ask Vinyl Aficionada and Doll-Land ! ^_^ Well, the entire session saw 364 messages exchanged and over $100 changed hands! Not bad for a start..as I soothe myself. Well for those who missed the action, there is another one coming in less than 18hrs time, on Sun 31th Aug 8pm. And thereafter every Fri and Sun again. Are u ready to Get Connected?

Disney Yujin Gashapon: Characters Treasure Box with mirror & key
6 different designs with different Disney Characters. The quality is surprisingly excellent for a gashapon "not that expensive". There are stickers everywhere for u to paste. I love the clean white "marble-look" of the small interior when opened. It has ample space to keep your earrings, necklace or pins collection!

Removable Xmas Hat!

I got this 2 large figurines. I thought they looks cute. They are actually coins bank but they have nice glossy painted finish. The black one has a face of a milk and the white one is bread. They look like giant "Kubrick" with moveable arms. Only get them if u have space cos they are BIG!

Black Mokona Plush 11cm from Tsubasa Chronicle Sega. Siting comfortably on a minaiture yellow chair. Selling @ $14.

Power Rangers Gashapons from Bandai. They are small in size but with unproportionally big heads. 5 of them will form a set. As usual, I had obviously "dong" too much into those capsule machines. I need to stop these compulsive behaviours. But sometimes u simply cannot control yourself. It's like feeding your coins to those Jackpot machines or so-called One Arm Bandits. See the effects taken at night? Yes, these Power Rangers have lights on their heads. There is a switch behind their heads. In fact I didn't know that until I saw this weird protruding plastic behind. Chuck that away and the switch cleverly appears. Slide it on and leave it! NICE!!!!!!!! I like the way they made it in such a way that u need not constantly hold onto the "ON" mode. Simply stunning when u display them at night! Believe me, it'll look nicer in real life!

Mini Stitch figurines in a balloon by Sega. Sometimes I wonder will the air inside these balloons get depleted. They are beautiful! Either try your luck in those UFO-catcher or get them from some of the stores here

Large size Stitch Monochrome Series from Sega! What a lovely completed family of 4! I only recently started collecting Plush, esp. Stitch. Here u see Stitch, Angel, Scrump & Suntanned Stitch (I hope he is indeed stitch). The workmanship of these Plushes from Sega is remarkable. U really can't see any flaw. Thanks crimpson for selling me the Scrump to complete the set. Not for Sale. But u may get them from some of the Toys & Collectibles Stores shown on the right.

Japanese Anime Lucky Star Gacha Phonestraps set of 5. Beautiful colours!

Mini scented Gashapon toilet roll from Yujin. There are 2 versions. One with the coloured cover & the other version are just the rolls as shown. They are so cute......... see the size difference compared to normal toilet roll! Too bad no more release. Get them if u still see them around. Or get from this store . U may need them in case of emergency, but I'll doubt u can use them twice cos it's good for one wipe one backside. :(P

Disney mini-characters in a bottle. Quite hard to find them now. I think they were released sometime back in 2003-4. There are actually "Tikams" which means blind, can't see or guess prizes. Usually there are also "Secrets" ones among the series which are worth more. I know I got some of the secrets in these series but I can't rem which are the ones liao. Nvm, it's back to the box anyway... (:

Cute Kellogs Figures set of 5. They stands at around 5cm. I bought them 5 years ago...It should be quite rare to find them, even in ebay.

I collect Alien figures too. They are from Konami SF Movie Series.. It comes in "blind" boxes. You don't know what you are getting till you open the boxes. Some of them are "secrets". They are not easy to obtain but if you do get them, they can fetch a higher price. Like in the last 2 pics below, the Space Jockey from Alien 1979 is one of the secrets. It looks like a machine gun.

Why do firebonfly larvae on Monsterism Island have the ability to produce light. The behavioural function of the larval light has received considerable speculation amongst many monstroligical societies and experts. However, the most generally accepted hypothesis is that firebonefly larvae use their luminescence es as a warning signal. Communicating to potential predators that they taste evil because they have defensive chemicals in their tails. These larvae also increase both the intensity and frequency of their glow when disturbed, angered or prodded with a stick.
Not all firebonefly species are bioluminescent as adults, but of the species that are, one or both sexes use to species specific flash pattern to attract a member of the opposite sex. These bioluminescent signals can take the form of anything from continuous glow, to discrete single flashes, to "psyche-outs" composed of mind bending multi-pulsed flashing rythums.

Attack from the Galaxy! A force to be reckoned with!

Simply Toys was one of the exhibitors.

I was quite impressed by the elaborate setting of this racing machine called the D-Box. Ok, first of all, there are not 1, but 3 giant 42" LCD screen capturing the images of the racing game. Together with the surround speakers, it gives you the intoxicating pump of adrenaline rushing towards your body as you accelerate towards 300km/hr. With its realistic Momo steering wheel, metallic gear shift and foot pedals and even Bride seats, you won't even wanna get up to answer your door for pizza! Not cheap I guess....plus you will need a room for this. :)

Princess Peach has appeared in nearly all of the Mario spin-off titles. Since the first Mario Party, Peach has appeared in every single installment, including Mario Party Advance. However, like all Mario Party games, she has nothing outside of appearance and voice to set her apart from other characters. An exception to this is Mario Party 7, in which both Peach and Daisy can use the Flower Orb as their special orb (that is, no other characters can receive it at orb spaces or shops).

I love the distinctive "flinks" when I open the lighter. Too bad I don't smoke. These are nice but there are nicer ones which I will show u later. Some has intricate and detailed craving which feels like a gem to hold... do read on......

Dr. Slump (Dr. (ドクター) スランプ, Dokutā Suranpu?) is a Japanese manga series, authored by Akira Toriyama. The title was serialized in Shueisha's anthology comic Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1980 to 1984, eventually compiled into 18 tankōbon. Po of Kungfu Panda from DreamWorks Animation. This one was bought by my girlfriend when she ate Mcdonald Happy Meal (free with meal). Not my type of toys though and she insisted that I've to take this picture if not I can't eat the fries... (kidding of course...) This figure somehow always remind me of Ranma 1/2 and the character called Saotome, who is also a Panda. Do you like Ranma?

Disney Magical Collection by TOMY. They are medium size figures housed in blister boxes. I won't take them out because I hate dust, plus the packaging is not all that bad looking. Giant Nightmare Before Christmas Bag, Cover, Coffin? I can't even describle exactly the term for this. This coffin-shaped "thing" is about 50cm long 8cm thick. It can certainly store a lot of stuffs through its circular opening somewhere in the centre. But I didn't put anything in there. I love the vibrant colours and workmanship. Maybe I should start storing my smaller NMBC merchandise in there as my space is getting more and more scarce...

One of my favourite Lighter Collections. This is the Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Cloudy Wolf Lighter. It features a wolf-designed logo on the lighter itself and at the bottom right. Unlike the chrome lighters u see earlier, this has a smooth and unique bronze colouration. Whether u smoke or not, a Final Fantasy fan should have this.

My White Gameboy Advance console still in excellent condition! No..no..this is not for sale. Actually toys collection is not my only passion. My other passion is gadgets. For games, I'm using my Black Sony PSP. My wishlist now is to get a DSLR camera in the near future. Maybe a Nikon D series of Canon DSLR. Boy, they look so stylish and it makes you look like a professional photographer!

Mini Pokemon Pez from Bandai Japan. When I said mini, it's literally mini....only about 4cm in height. Not your regular size Pez, which makes them all the more unique! I have a lot of Pez collection...I need to look for that Pez box again. Can u see my predicament? I have so many toy collection which I ought to display on a huge glass shelf unit but I couldn't due to space constraint in my house. So most of them keep "entering" the box. Maybe I should throw away my queen-size bed and ask my girlfriend to sleep on the floor..... no..no..no..she'll kill me. She'll rather throw away my toys.... :( :(

Another one of my favourite Gashapons! Nightmare Before Christmas set of 5 figurines by Yujin. I got it as a set instead of turning them individually. I think it cost about SGD3 each. It requires some minor assembly and it looks great upon completion. I love the "tree" the most...

I absolutely do not know these toys but I find them real cute and unique. They are actually from USA kidrobot. Upon opening the blind boxes (well actually I knew what I was buying because they circled the character), the figures were accompanied by some rather interesting stories about them. For eg, Billy Ray Riddle (left) was sentenced to 25 years to Life. No wonder he was donning the prisoner's outfit. And the chicken Yeznig Eskidjian AKA Yegg The Book is a Bookie/Fence. I do not really know what job he does, but I'm sure it isn't a prisoner because all prisoners will have an iron ball chained to their feet.

My girlfriend lamented that I'm becoming more femine...lol.. The truth is I do not dislike Hello Kitty. I will purchase Kitty and Sanrio merchandise selectively. Firstly it must be of a High Quality, not those pasar malam fake types..I've seen some Hello Kitty with MOUTH! Secondly it must be functional and unqiue. This clock justify my purchase largely because I like the interactive LCD and Katagana words. Can I read them? Hmm I've got JLPT 3 cert. Gonna take my JLPT 2 soon, maybe this year end or next :) so the answer is YES! and looking forward to my next trip to Japan this year end!

This figurine is neat and the packaging is nice. The box claimed the wobbler is luminous at night but I doubt so. Maybe my room isn't as dark as the Brunei Jungle....

CAPSULE STATION by Bandai
This orange Capsule Machine is a birthday present from my girlfriend. It has very bright orange and yellow colours with "eggs" inside. Drop in a SGD 50cents that it truly despatches out an egg. How big is this thing? Well...about 25% of the Gashapon Machines u see everywhere. Maybe next year I'll asked her to get me a WHITE one for my birthday :)P

Unknown brand PVC camera from China
They are so-called gashapons from the island wide machines u see in coffeeshops and 7-11s. These are mini mini cameras about the size of a thumb but fatter. Peek into the viewfinder u actually see slides of naked women....just kidding it just shows pokemon or other unknown cartoons....see I also collect rubbish toys

Mayo & Little Sarah. These are designer toy figures made in US. Probably my very first collection of toys from US. I like the cute girl with the nice hairdo. Sometimes my purchase habits have something to do with colours. I'm probably attracted to the nice colours and high quality workmanship of this set.
