Loot Post: March 2016

To All,

I'm in this terrible habit of  going around to source for new items and figures to purchase when I have a free month (or relatively cheap) month at AmiAmi. Luckily for me, I also have the great habit of collating my orders so I'll be able to ship my items together and hopefully cut down on some shipping costs!

Suruga-ya
Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru PSVita game
I had been waiting (im)patiently for this game to go down in price, especially the limited edition version, so I could get my hands on the extras. The extras include a amazing outer box, a limited edition game jacket, a CD, an information booklet about the main characters and vertexes, an A5 file depicting Yuuna and Tougou, a bath poster (I didn't know they were so small >A<), a sticker set, and of course, the game itself.

Even if this is a second-hand item from Suruga-ya, I can't actually find any damages. It's almost as good as new, and I consider it a snatch to be able to get it at half-price!

Other games that I'm considering to get, or rather, waiting for the price to fall are Hanasaku Manimani and Ken ga Kimi.

AmiAmi
Makise Kurisu 1/8 Scale (Kotobukiya)
I have been spending quite some time deliberating between her Good Smile Company and Kotobukiya version, but the issue was finally resolved on its own when Kotobukiya announced another re-release for this beauty. Which is essentially a very good thing for me, considering how much she spiked in price in the after-market.

Shokudaikiri Mitsutada Nendoroid x3 (Good Smile Company)

Before I face judgement on my purchase, I would like to defend myself by rehashing the point that Micchan is my Husbando in Touken Ranbu. Also, the reason for having three copies of this Nendoroid is to keep one sealed, display one, and give one to my friend!

Minami Kotori Cheesecake-Flavored Scones (Broccoli)
I'm not a gourmet and I don't think that I'm fit enough to review how the taste was... but I'll just leave a mention here that it was quite dry -- which isn't really unexpected, seeing as the scones were supposed to last for around 2 months, instead of the usual 1 week deadline.

I love the packaging though, even though that might have some bias since I'm a mega-Kotori fan. The little carrier bag that comes along really makes a good accentuate to my Kotori Shrine!

Mandarake
2013 Snow Miku Nendoroid (Good Smile Company)

This is by far my best Snow Miku Nendoroid, with the 2014 Magical Girl following close after. I missed out on the pre-order for her all those years ago, and I'm glad that I finally got her to come home. Sadly, I got her for a little more than a hundred SGD, with shipping, and something tells me I don't want to think how much I could have saved if I got her at pre-order price.
The good thing is, she looks good displayed. And she comes with two bodies, one sitting and one standing, and her body actually looks incredibly nice when paired with Harvest Miku, which I picked up sometime last year!

Singapore Local Stores
Sonoda Umi L Prize Angelic Angel Kuji (Banpresto)
I tried my luck at this Kuji, and with only  one try, I don't know if I should be glad with what I ended up with. I was trying for the figures, like everyone else was. And I knew that I definitely didn't want the cups and gashapon, but was neutral to the straps and towels. In fact, I might have wished for the towels a little more, just so that I didn't have to count on RNG again to get me a character I like from the blind boxes.

I ended up with Umi's rubber strap and as amazing as she is, I was trying for my best girl, Minami Kotori. Thank God Carousell existed because I was able to trade with a kind Carouseller for Kotori. She now lies in my Kotori Shrine, enshrined and worshiped by my other Kotori rubber straps.

From Your Fellow Collector,
