Naruto Live Spectacle Prelude

Hello dear readers! How many of you here are Naruto fans? If you are, I have something exciting to announce to you~ Well, it's not new, but it seems like not many of my friends know about it... Anyway, presenting, the NARUTO LIVE SPECTACLE! For two days in June, it'll be like a live action Naruto movie popped out of the screen right onto stage! I'm not a fan of live action movies but this does sound cool don't you think ^_^

Without further ado, let's watch the trailer first!

I think I'm most excited about Gaara! If you must know, he is one of my favourite characters and I'm glad to see he'll be making an appearance. I wonder if he will be an antagonist though.

It'll be showing at Resorts World Theatre, at Resorts World Sentosa from 6-7 June. And don't worry about the language barrier, because according to the flyer I took, there will be both English and Chinese subtitles available! I've added pictures of the flyer at the bottom of this post :) Here's a synopsis I got from Sistic:

The Boy lives in the Village of Konoha-Gakure, just like other boys until..

One day, at dawn, the mischievous boy called Naruto gets suspected of the missing book full of Ninja’s prohibited alchemy. The thing is that he was trapped to know the secrets of his birth. When he was delivered, the legendary demon fox with nine tails was sealed up. in his body. Naruto gets terribly shocked with the fact, however, he was encouraged and supported by Iruka, one of the teachers at Ninja Academy, so that he managed to graduate from the school. Now that Naruto and his classmates start their duty as fresh-man Ninja, it means the beginning of a journey where they are forced to face challenges and fatalities as well as Naruto’s personal struggle and friendship with his fatal friend Sasuke.

Oh, and here's footage from one of the performances! I think the visual effects are pretty well done and the costumes and makeup are splendid!

The cast seems pretty huge! I found some promotional pictures online and everyone looks great.

Most, if not all of the cast has their own promotional posters already! I don't know why everyone looks like they're covered in dirt and grime but I think we all agree they still look good!

Last but not least, here's the flyer!
