I thank you for your passion and contribution, no matter how small to the Otaku community.
I once "cosplayed" as a scary figure (I have no idea who) during Halloween and tried to liven the eerie atmosphere. I need not go all out to scare people but the fact that I was present in a halloween costume, I played my part and added to the fun of people around me. Similarly, cosplayers spent hours and hours of either making or sourcing for their costumes and on the day itself, have to put on layers of makeup and endure the uncomfortable costume at times.
I applaud you for the effort and commitment. ^^
